Gonna miss the Caravan, I'll be in SW FL. My flight lands just a few miles from FGCU and I'm pretty sure I'll make a detour to visit their campus and bookstore.

Good luck at the Grail Bobcats. It's not quite in Moerlein's class for food or drink, but it's definitely less expensive.

Wonder why Chillicothe isn't on the schedule?  Great attendance there last year.  Also, where is Parkersburg, WV?  Thought that was a worthwhile stop, too.

Would be nice to have the Caravan leave the state of Ohio once in a while.

DC is caliing.....

Would definitely draw a larger crowd than Pomeroy...

Figures as soon as I move to Toledo, they would no longer stop there on the Caravan.

The coaches and staff were growing weary of the 12 full stops.  I found out a while back that the Parkersburg caravan was going to be on a 2-3 year rotation, along with some of the other smaller towns.  While we had decent attendance, I understand why they want to have fewer events and concentrate on the larger cities.  I always enjoyed hosting the event, but I'm not too upset about skipping a year.

Good event. My key takeaways:

Solich: Already watching Bridgewater (Looval QB) on film.........and sounds like he better watch a LOT. Acknowledges it's gonna be tough 'tween the top teams in the MAC this year - says he thinks the most balanced from top to bottom fball league in the NCAA.

JC: ANYBODY could be starting this year - and they all know it. Montpremier - really high on him - and Ndour. Montpremier - initial looks and contact came from recommendations from - of all people - Devon Davis. Davis still close to JC from his playing days at Fiami when JC was asst there - and he got them in touch. That one - is HARD to swallow. What do I do if Davis shows up at a game - jeer, or cheer???????
