Blatant shot clock violation, blatant lane violation, clean block by Gabe.

Sheldon is a DI player because he is a shooter. He showed that at Dublin Coffman and, after a difficult freshman season, he's showing that this year. But why so much difficulty from the line? In small sample sizes he was 1 of 7 last year and doubling that rate this year, he is 2 of 7. (Waiting for BLSS to pick apart this post)

This team has no leader. Boals benched our 2 elders and they came out and had no intensity. We have no game changer. AJ Brown was not the answer either so his injury is no excuse. Sheldon has a great energy but he cannot make a single FT. Cornish is growing but is inconsistent. We will be sub .500 and Boals will lose EJ4 and Reef to transfer portal.

Toledo has 15 made field goals at half and 0 assists.

And they are up 6.

That sums up the state of Ohio hoops right now. It’s a difficult product to watch.
Trying to.

It is hard.

How do you give up a layup off a FT? And what is wrong with Miles? Total B-Rod issues right now. No confidence.

Couldn't agree more. Gets beat down the court for a layup off a missed Ohio free throw. Throw the ball away on next possession followed by a backcourt foul. Then, on next possession, missed a 10 footer. I've been waiting for 5 years for him to be the answer.

Sorry man, but it was other posters telling me that the sample size was too small to draw conclusions from, not the other way around. You're going to have to wait for them to pick your post apart.

I started taking shots every time the announcer said “MAC Conference”…. I’m actually unalived right now.

Did I hear one of the announcers say some call the Convo the Madison Square Garden of the MAC? Or something like that?

How do we let that Swede knock EJ4 down then hit a 3 without bodying him? I will reference Major League 2: we have no marbles. And I really hope IJ is enjoying his free front row seat. I know we have talked ad nauseum about him but it makes me angrier every game he sits there. And Sheldon owes us nothing now. He is one of the few guys who has marbles.

20 straight FT’s made for EJ4. More bully ball from the kid, please.
Really nice to see a statline where EJ4 has taken more shots than Hunter, at least. They need to run actions 15 times a game where they get EJ4 the ball coming off a screen inside the arc with a head of steam.

Tonight it is the defense. We just cannot stop them on the drive. Then on offense we’ve thrown four balls out of about. Need to learn how to value possessions on offense.

Really enjoying this new scheme where you are taught to go under screens. Working out really well for the team.

Honestly, I have no idea who this announcer is, but he is kind of a legend.

He also called Jaylin “a lot likeJames Harden”.

EJ4 is our best player. When Boals lets Hunter and Reef know that we will start to turn the corner. Problem is, we don't run sets. The announcers even noticed that Clayton shoots 60 and 40 and we weren't running anything for him. We are an open gym team and that is on Boals.

I wasn't picking apart your post, just sharing stats that suggested we're probably gonna see a whole lot more fouls from this team because they foul a lot.

Unless he heard something from strippers in Parkersburg, I don't see the connection.

Strippers in Parkersburg might be the only way he gets through this season.

Brutal. If this were occurring under Better Call Saul, this board would be screaming like banchies with their hair on fire. This is a recruiting issue or more specifically a lack there of.

I agree with both of these. It’s been a rough shooting season for Jaylin and I don’t think anyone saw this coming, but the team could benefit from him taking a back seat to EJ4 and AJC. Boals needs to make them the focal points. Sheldon’s also earned more opportunities to fire away from 3.

I don’t really count the Defiance game. We’ve lost 5 straight and have shown no life of improvement.
