AP played someone called LIFE University.

So I googled it... It was called Life Chiropractic College until the mid-90's. It's a Chiropractic College. LOL. They fielded a team of future chiropractors.

I see "Life" lost to Fisk which iirc is more or less a club level non-scholarship team. Yet APSU did beat (rebuilding) Murray and lost close at WKU who has wins over BGSU, Buffalo, Wright State.

The Bobcats can't shoot bricks and fall apart on defense and win this one.

They are in year one of a new coaching staff that came over from Northwestern State. They brought with them a few guys including Hansel Emmanuel, the player who had his arm amputated as a child. He's solidly in the rotation and might have as many dunks or more as anyone on our team. They also have a center who would dwarf Shaq that just became eligible.

They are NAIA, Southern States Conference. Looking at their 11-3 overall and 7-1 conference record I’d say they are getting most of the kinks worked out.

Demarcus Sharp is the guy. He was Southland POY a season ago. Jamonta Black and Dezi Jones are also solid. We match up well in terms of not needing a lot of size for this game, but the guard play will be tough to face on the road. I always thought this was a potential trap game sandwiched in between Defiance and Davidson. Not a team to take lightly.

I hope this APSU game won't turn into a pain in the lower back.

Looks like they've been able to get many of their opponents to crack under pressure.

Too bad we don't get a crack at them this year.

My guess is they make some major adjustments at half time.

They actually have a new basketball facility F & M Bank Arena. It is smaller than the Winfield Dunn Center.

That is actually a city/county owned building operated by the NHL Nashville Preds as a part of downtown Clarksville urban renewal. APSU is the main tenant for now but I would put $$ on some level of minor league hockey ending up there at some point too. (It's an easy walk from the campus though)

Bobcats are a 4 point fave on most sports books that have posted a line at all.

No AJB tonight. No mention yet on IJ one way or the other. Hopeful about that. AP's Shaq clone is also not available.

Absolutely no reason to play AJB until he’s close to 100%.

We have to be one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the country. But here we are bricking 30 a game.

When you don't have a starting center because you whiffed on the portal.

That and Sharp is the best player on the floor. We could use a guy of his caliber to take over a game on both ends of the court.

This does not bode well for road games in the MAC vs similar teams.
