Was it a typo somewhere or did they actually lose to something called Hangover?

By like 40 points?

In any case, if they charge for parking, I'll probably come home and watch it on ESPN plus. Not only should parking be free, they should have free beer for actually showing up to see this mismatch.

So you won't show up... in defiance of parking fees?

I say this every year but I still think its crazy that D1 men's basketball can go 7+ days without a game. It has to hurt the development of the team as a whole to go that long without any game reps. I understand they practice every day but its not even close to live action.

While I don't disagree with your point, Spongebob, this timely break for Ohio might be just what the doctor ordered. Let's get healthy, academically eligible, our shooting form back, etc. . . and hit the reset button next week when Defiance visits the Convo.

LOL +1 for academic eligibility

Good point though regarding health. Not even Christmas and we already need to get healthy.

It appears their only victory was against one of Miami's branch campuses.

It's Hanover, from Indiana. They are both in the Heartland Conference. D3. Defiance is basically a bottom tier team in D3.

We certainly need a confidence builder.

Would love to see Ike and Hadaway with starters minutes, AJB going 30+ if he is able...

Otherwise, lets get out of this without injury or embarrassment.

Agreed. There were stretched vs Otterbein that were certainly embarrassing.

Actually since I have the print at home tickets, I may not bother to even print them. Nobody will want to see that even for free. The way HP charges for ink cartridges these days...probably won't bother to print them.

It's a shame the students won't be here for the first two MAC games. Those could have held some level of excitement.

The only concern I have on this game is how we play at both ends of the court.
We need to play better as a team.
All players must contribute to the win.

I think most people feel the way I do about this game....I hate it. These games should never be scheduled by Division-One basketball teams.

However....I'm going to take off my "get off my lawn" hat and say if Miles is truly coming back now, it's a nice game for hime to ease into it and get his legs back. As for AJB....it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know he's banged up. Why play him? Sit him.

The Bobcats could field an entire team of walk-ons and beat Defiance.

Hanover, Indiana. The home of that distinguished bartender at Cheers, Woody Boyd.

And based on the posts in this thread, it seems a lot of us could use his services for this game.

According to ESPN.com, Akron is playing Miami-Hamilton on Sunday. Who are they?

Does Boals have any more kids who could dress out for this game?

This could end up a career game for Wiz if he plays more than 15 minutes.

The Miami Regional system is a wonderful way to expand the student base while not letting the unwashed masses too close to Oxford.

This is Miami @ Hamilton's basketball team.

https://miamioh.edu/regionals/athletics/harriers/sports/m...

No, it is not a high school team. They play in something called the USCAA which was founded as the "National Little College Athletic Association" (NLCAA), primarily to sponsor a national basketball tournament for small colleges and junior colleges.
