With Kadeem gone we now have one available scholarship for next year.  One poster has hinted in a 2-guard coming soon that will surprise people.

Its the off-season so lets wildly speculate at who that could be. I'll throw some names out there.

Amedeo Della Valle - OSU - Sophomore

Mo Creek - Indiana - Senior (Can play right away) - George Washington

Diamond Taylor - Southern Illinois - Junior

Willie Moore - Oregon - Sophomore

Justin Coleman - Marshall - Sophomore

Anrio Adams - Kansas - Sophomore

Oooooh, that would be a great pickup. We offered him out of high school, and he was a statsheet stuffer at Aiken.

Not Della Valle, according to this tweet:

  1. Good news from the locker room: Amedeo Della Valle will return for his sophomore season.

Found this on Willie Moore:

  1. Oregon freshman guard Willie Moore (Cincinnati Aiken) is down to just Miami (OH) and Eastern Kentucky for his transfer.

That news is almost two months old. In high school, Willie originally committed to Duquesne, then re-opened his recruiting after the coach was let go. He was reportedly deciding between Virgina Tech and South Carolina before committing to Oregon. Add to that how much sweeter our program is than Miami and EKU and our need for guards, I think anything can still happen.

That's certainly true. Even if it were just a day old, kids change their minds quickly.

Otto van Kempen

The long lost but recently rediscovered cousin of Kenneth van Kempen.

7-4. Eligible to play immediately.

My wild guess is one of the Texas starting guards to transfer.

Nice, Optimist!  Otto plays on the same amateur Euro team with Yitzhak Bota, younger brother of Marin Bota.  Yitzhak is 7-1, 175 lbs., but runs the court like a deer.  Has NBA potential according to some.  Has a great upside.

The best thing about Otto van Kempen is that he's 7'4 so he can dunk without jumping, but he still has better things to do.

donuts and whocares must have something to say to you guys.

You should be arrested for being somewhat obscure at points (to those who haven't lived here for years) and for exercising your sense of fun.

Obviously, we're holding the free ride for Miles Finch.

I could easily be wrong but I thought he had a JUCO year under his belt already. I couldn't get link to work does it say otherwise?  In my Wildly speculative scenario he is still a wildly talented player , has matured and joins the Bobcats sans cellphone

It's amazing what you can learn from a trip to Kroger...think I've figured out the scoop here.

Not a done deal (yet), but the kid is Anrio Adams from Kansas: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Anrio-Adams-108332. Wasn't a huge contributor last season, but obviously very talented. Would love to see him commit...heard he may be coming in this week!

Don't know about this guy....2 days ago he tweeted it was UNLV.....not sure how he did that since the only  twitter account with his name sez Fakeandrioadams with no tweets.  He also said he wanted to play closer to home.....uhhhhh....he's from Seattle.

If we do land him take away his frikkin twitter account....if he has one.

The guy who said Anrio told him he was going to UNLV has since tweeted:

"Anrio Adams probably needs a publicist to explain himself clearly: he tells me tonight in a text message the "UNLV rumor is not true."

and

"Anrio Adams said he "is open to all options and still waiting for the best situation." Said juco is "likely."

Bleacher Report had him 16th on its list of Top 20 available transfers: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1601678-ranking-the-top-20-transfers-available-in-ncaa-basketball/page/6

And they agree with Doc: Wherever he ends up, it might be a good idea to keep him away from the social media.
