Saw him on Goodman's list, may have missed this in a previous thread though.

Nice find. That's the first I've heard of it. If true, I have to imagine he's not going to go to a D-I program because sitting out another year would be a lot of lost time for a guy who's already missed parts of two seasons and redshirted as a freshman.

If true, I wonder if our coaches have any connections to any of the wing or off-guards on that list. With Kellogg, Wilkins, Johnson, and Hall all leaving next year and only Wingfield waiting in the wings, we could use an upperclassman in those areas.

Not surprised that someone is transferring, just didn't know who it would be.

Really not all that surprised by this. Even with the reduced playing minutes of Ivo this past year, it really didn't get Kadeem more floor time. Wonder if this was a mutual parting of the ways?

The kid got no PT. Therefore one can only think he really has little talent.
This kid is another example of a kid who peaked in high school and couldn't recover from a health issue.
Too bad.
Now we need another big. Anyone left for 2013 - 2014? Probably not anyone good.

I disagree that we need another big. I think this just increases the likelihood that either Mompremier or Campbell, my money is on Campbell, gets some playing time this year.

I would much rather take someone from that transfer list, particularly a wing, or shooting guard. Let someone sit and observe the system while Nick, Travis, TJ, and Ric play out their senior years. Those positions are almost bare past their class.

Lets just sign someone out of high school.  I hear there is a kid named Andrew Wiggins still available.  Kind of an under the radar type though lol.

I wish Kadeem the best and hope it was mutual.

Sorry, Eagle...I hear Wiggins can't wait to move down a few blocks and play for Coach Herrion at Marshall.  Signed, sealed and DEE-livered.

There are a number of players on the list (and I'm sure more) the are graduating with a year of eligibility remaining.  You would think one of them would be of value and would be interested in Sports Administration.  Do we ever use that graduate program to recruit such a player?  Seems like a natural fit.

We knew it was just a matter of time before "futureendeavoritis" hit Ohio.

If we were going for one of those types, then I would prefer a big man. I see that 6'11'' player from Lamar is available. Not much of an offensive game, but he gave us some problems getting shots at the rim when we played in 2011.

As are Davis and Moser - big time schools looking at them.  but if they are good students (they appear to be), and they probably don't have a future in the pro game - overseas maybe - a career in Sports Administration may be on their mind.  Certainly worth the coaches reaching out and dangling the Masters program.

That's how we got Braunstein the kicker from Washington St a few years back.

Sorry it didn't work out, Kadeem. I don't agree the only conclusion is he doesn't have talent.

Agree. I think it was more timing and "fit".

Has anyone heard anything from Ohio on this?  If not, we may want to pump the breaks for now.

Kadeem scored 35 points in only 64 minutes of playing time. I thought he showed good energy around the rim and was active on the boards. Sorry he wasn't able to get more playing time. Hope he's able to find the right fit.

It does seem a little odd that the only source for this is Jeff Goodman's list on CBS Sports. Nothing from Arkley, nothing from the Athletic Department, not even any chatter about it on Twitter, except for everyone citing Goodman's list as their source.

Very odd. I feel like I hardly knew the guy.  I'm also hoping we get a transfer that will have a year to develop more and learn the system.  Seems to work out well for us.
