While we're on the topic, I remember having a chance to fly in on a private jet.  But I turned it down because the jet was to arrive about 5:30pm and I'd promised to meet up with my best friend from O-H-I-O at the airport at 1:30pm when he landed.  5:30pm meant he'd have to wait four hours and we'd certainly miss the BobcatBash.  I flew commercial and landed at about noon.

It turns out that the BobcatBash was really well attended and a lot of fun.  I met a lot of people from this board and a number of old friends who I'd not seen for too many years

My best buddy and I sat with borna in the middle of the O-H-I-O section.  Nice.  They were a lot bigger than us.  A lot.  It was somewhat close early on then the team in blue took a spurt that gave them a lead of, as I recall, 26-11.  It was clear that it was about to be game over if we didn't do something right away.

That was a helluva night in St. Louis.

What a night. I was there as well. One of the most interesting sporting events I've ever attended.

I was there as well. Ditto to all above. One of the smartest decisions I ever made was being there in person and attending the Bobcat Bash. Great people...great times.

The opportunity to get the bike on the road 2 weekends in a row did it for me. Triple digit speeds and meeting folks on the road, around the town and at the Bashes was a great time. INteresting phenom with Bobcat fans. Unlike Kansas, UNC, UK all the Bobs fans are personally invested somehow. As I talk to many of the fans in those other fanbases many have never stepped foot on campus....no personal involvement .....strange and familiar bleating....

The company in St Louis (and Nashville ) was very good and the Administration should still be getting props for handling the Bashes both weekends with great aplomb
