With Adrian Foster selling shares of himself, I thought I would try an exercise to see whose stock on this team I would buy or sell based off one game. The idea is you have to cash out at the end of the season. I might update as the season goes on. Feel free to add yours:

Hall: Sell. This is a shame, because he's talented and skilled, but it just isn't going to realize. He'll be at the back of the rotation and have a couple shining moments, which will make me wonder what could have been.
Johnson: Buy. He's not as good shooting the ball as he was yesterday, but if he's even an average shooter, he's valuable considering how good he is in other aspects of the game. Smart players who knows where to be at the right time to make a play.
Kellogg: Buy. His price is low coming off a bad year, but I think we'll see something closer to the 2011-12 than the 2012-13 Nick.
Mompremier: Sell. He won't give us anything this year.
N'Dour: Buy. This one is obvious.
Setty: Buy. Seems to be a smart player who knows his role in the system and can execute it. You need these guys, even though they're not stars.
Smith: Buy. I've been on the Jon Smith bandwagon since day 1. I defended him early on when people thought he wasn't bringing any value to the team, so I'm obviously going to stay on it as more people start to see what he does on the floor. I just wish he'd grab more rebounds.
Taylor: Sell. Still not convinced.
Wilkins: Sell. He'll average less than 10 minutes a game and have few standout moments. Fine player, but the crowd is just too big. He's the penguin who gets pushed over the iceberg.
Willis: Hold. I imagine he's better than he showed yesterday.

I'm really excited about what I've seen from Ric recently. Definitely buying him as a consistent defender and alright offensive force.

Too early to tell, but I guess that's the nature of stocks.

Might as well make some predictions.

I am buying Rico, Stevie, Ndour, Setty, Kellogg and Bean. Remember people, it was Bean's first action, he didn't get to play against Ashland. T.J. needs to find his niche. I hope he doesn't have resentment over his role which is less than even I thought it would be. Wilkins is a nice 5 to 10 minute guy while Wadley and Campbell are interchangeable in terms of providing a few "banger" minutes.

In other words, you like everyone that did well on Saturday.

I'm buying Willis and selling Taylor because everyone is down on Willis and high on Taylor after just 1 game, so I can get a deal on Bean and Stevie is priced too high.  Smart investing.

Several players even moved up from Don't Buy to Risky in the lightning round.

Yes. I believe that Saturday was a good opponent and OUr guys performed as expected in that game. Thus, I think those that played well will continue to do so.

Shoulda bought low on Taylor JSF.

It appears he's a handful.

How astute is our board?  We teach our viewers how to trade stock on the basketball board.  Love it!

After tonight, I'm sold on this entire team.  The old Bobcats would have crawled up into a ball and let the bucknuts run us to the ground. We no longer rely on individuals to play individually well and no longer rely on the 3ball to win games.  BUY, BUY, BUY!

Antonio Campbell did a good job on D and rebounding for a freshman is that situation. Buy

Sticking to it. Taking too many threes. Unsure whether 1 assist or 8 is more typical, so I can't buy.

Last year's team would have lost by at least 25 points.
It would have been Memphis all over again.

If you are basing your buy/sell on the opening price I don't see how you aren't buying.like crazy.  His assist total last night had a lot to do with the other players on the court.

Too cautious my friend.  The perfect point guard doesn't exist.

Pretty obvious last night that Taylor and Kellog had to take over and try to win that game.

You can't get a lot of assists from the guards if they pass it to people unable to score. N'Dour creates most of his points off of a basketball move, so while he will lead us in scoring, he isn't going to produce a lot of baskets directly from assists.

Travis is slow and will never get a shot off if he is properly scouted by the opposition. All he does is receive the pass, take one or two dribbles, then pass it back out. His minutes are a real head scratcher to me right now. Same for TJ. He is lost on both ends of the floor. I just don't see huge assist numbers this year based on how we are likely to score most of our points.

I'm going to sell Setty and Wilkins. Setty doesnt have the size or bulk to bang, and doesnt have the quickness or athleticism to create. He is good for a few rebounds a game and maybe a few putbacks. Just not that impressed right now. Wilkens is what he is, a spot shooter. TJ will come around.
