We bought 8 tickets. I'm probably going to leave work by 2 and hit the bars near campus. This is my Super Bowl.

I'm choosing football! Will not make an effort for basketball until football is over.

With bells on! Just because we've lost a couple, I'm still behind this team.

Correction ou_country - you are in a row of 11 plus 4 other supporters nearby... If anyone can't find someone to go with go on ticketmaster and buy sec 307 row p seat 11 to sit with a group of friendly bobcats!

Very commercial venue.

How do you feel about St. John Arena? Seems like it has a little more personality.

In case OSU game ticketholders missed it, the Central Ohio Alumni Association says they are offering a free shuttle from the Blarny Stone Tavern to the Schott.  The Blarny Stone is where the Central Ohio viewing party is....so pregame starts at 5:30 and then should be able to get back to catch end of football game.

The Blarny Stone is owned by former Bobcat MLB Benny King.

St John is and was a great arena. I never went to any OSU games there, but ive been in the building and it has a great old school feel. All the individual banners dating back to the 20s and 30s, knowing all the great teams (OSU and otherwise) and players that played there, the fact that it was where the State HS final was for a long time etc. Very cool place

I never had a good seat at St John; seems like I was always behind a post sitting near the Elder Kenny Kerr.  The only seats worse were at Henderson for the Terd.  They seemed pleased to give up the bad seats to OU.  Even Charlie Ping got bad seats there.

This is my first sporting event at value city.  Seen a couple concerts and shoes...definitely stale feel.  The 1994 game in St. Johns had a ton of Ohio fans...probably 25-30%.  I don't think OSU fans liked that too much. My favorite memory was Gary Trent trying to go up for a dunk..he didn't get good jump and came up short with rim blocking his dunk...the OSU fans cheered the loudest they had all game.  Trent pulls down the rebound...steps behind the arc in the corner and drains a three.  OSU section goes silent.
