Even prouder of OUr Bobcats after seeing Marquette, currently ranked #17, fall to A&M at Marquette by over 15 points, ending Marquette's long home game win streak. Go OHIO, beat Valpo!

Interesting to see how one of the teams I thought muddied the game up with a plethora of athletes that had very little ball skills and survived ona lot of physical play had adapted to the way the gmae is being called. Marquette drove me crazy last year with the way they bumped and checked and guided withtheir strength and hands. Probably one of the most destructive physical teams I have ever seen....while on the other end they could not dribble or shoot worth a damn.
Their shooting woes continue with the inability to make a shot but I really like the big guy in the middle. Great hands, soft touch and with the new rules A$M got called for arm bars and holds to the point Matta almost stroked out. He iwll be a load as Buzz figures out how to use him. Bonus is that he shoots 85 per cent from the line.
TO$U is coming along and should be a beneficiary of the new rules on the offensive end with their speed length and ability to move off the ball. Their style and ball movement is good for the way the game is to be called. craft is gonna get away with a lot ...just the way he plays and his ability to talk to refs. Paul Baron...who knew all the refs and their families/kids names would be proud of him and how he politics them without being overt. or a pain in the ass. .
THat was a good game yesterday and gave us a better insight as to the Big East and Big Ten styles under the changes.
