I'll admit I know nothing about Boston College other than they were 0-2 coming in, but a MAC team beating an ACC team seems like a good thing.  The surprising thing to me, checking the box score, was Pearson only had 9 for Toledo.  The other 4 Rocket starters were all in double figures with Brown and Drummond with 23 and 20, respectively.  Good win for the MAC, even if it was a basement ACC team.

Drummond was impressive, hit some big shots late. Rockets hit their FTs down the stretch.

Good win for the MAC, over a team that this week's ESPN the Magazine featured in an article and is calling an ACC Sleeper...

Sporting News is picking BC to be a middle of the pack ACC team.

Maybe that'll change to being an ACC Snoozer.

The conference wasn't getting wins like this last season.

And how about EMU over Bobby Mo?

Good win, also.  And it was witnessed by a staggering 793 fans.

Somehow they had 2677 as the attendance for their first home game against Albion...then that dropped to a little over 500 for the next home game, and 793 against Bobby Mo.  Where did they find the extra 2000 fans for the opener?  Or was there a typo in the box score?

I heard it was a required field trip for a bunch of elementary school kids in the area.

2 nice wins last night for the MAC.  EMU could be a sleeper in the MAC this year.  Recruited very well.
