Ok, good point, but now that we are a day after the volleyball game, it no longer needs to be on the basketball board to remind us to watch the volleyball game.
But, Jeff......what about those on the board who live in the past?
like those old grunts at the Athens' bars who tell war stories to students to pass on the memories to the next generation? [I just read over that and it didn't exactly sound like an insult; I guess I'm losing my touch.]
Now, before you start in on your oil-tender swabby stuff, I was only on an oil tender for about one month, and it never left the harbor. Before that I was on two man-of-wars -- the USS Norfolk (DL-1) and the USS Newport News (CA-148). The latter being the world's largest all-gun cruiser at the time. On the Norfolk, we did ASW exercises with virtually all the South American navies and successfully prevented the Viet Cong submarine attack on South America!

Now, tell me I didn't contribute to hemispheric defense of the Americas and our war effort!
