I almost--note I said, almost---feel sorry for Ruck.

He hates Fiami so he wants to revel in their embarrassing loss to NCAA Div. III Wilmington.

On the other hand, he knows deep down that this confirms my touting of how tough some NCAA Div. II and III programs can be, and NAIA programs.

Bwahahahaha!

Florida football needs to drop down as well, eh Jeff?

Luckily for Miami, 17 year olds make strange decisions.  So, they could turn it around in 12 months easily with a strong recruiting class.  Sure, the program is stale, the arena is stale, fans are dwindling, and Miami students clearly don't care.

But, that's not preventing EMU from being 5-0.

When EMU beats Ohio on January 25 (early prediction - its gonna happen) my wonderment at how a program with basically no fans can recruit well enough to beat an Ohio program with a strong fan base will continue.  Just like when Buffalo beats us in football.

you're missing my point, 69.  Andrew and I have a running feud about how Div. II and III programs are tough and that we can't overlook them on our schedule.  He mocks me and I fight back.  So that was my point.  Not that we should drop down a division.

If Ohio was as terrible as Miami is, I don't know that I would've mocked your cautioning that we need to take Wilmington seriously.  Until Ohio loses to one of these teams, there will be no victory dance for you in this dispute.

I did think of you early in the 2nd half of the Heidelberg game though.  If it ever happens I'll come over weeping and saying I'm sorry repeatedly.

How much further can Miami fall? I am amazed at how these once proud programs (football and basketball) have hit rock bottom! While I enjoy hating Akron and Kent in basketball, the intensity doesn't compare to the days when Ohio and Miami were sitting at the top.

Which Miami team will win first?  The basketball team or football team?
