Was there, sitting near Ohio's first half basket.  MND missed some easy shots in the first half.  Played better after getting untracked in the second.  He may be the most "athletic" player I've ever seen wearing Bobcat colors.  Has skills, but they need to be refined.  That said, he showed he could be a force in the MAC.  Certainly would not embarrass himself if he played on a power conference team. Glad he chose us.

What I really like is that he knows what he's going to do with the ball in the post before he gets it. He receives the pass and acts decisively and quickly. Been a while since we've had someone like that.

We needed to get the ball into him quicker when he posted up. They collapsed 2 to 3 on him often.I think he saw some speed and strength he is not accustomed too.

I noticed that as well.. They were really collapsing around him when he got the ball. When he gets used to drawing that kind of attention, our offense will open up quite a bit.

NDour is the most complete big man I've seen at Ohio in a long time. Very rare to see a guy this athletic who can do it all.

Very exciting.

Didn't see the game but Dragon's remark is good high praise.

As good as high praise from Nicholas Cage?
That’s high praise!

including a three.

And he is already a leader on the team - encouraging teammates and getting the crowd going (who brought the flag?)

What really amazes me is Ndour looks extremely raw at times.  His upside potential is through the roof.  I could easily see a 30/15 effort out of him at some point this season.  Perhaps even a triple double.

My roommate and I bought it earlier this week and it came in the mail last night. There was another Senegal flag two sections to the left of us near the top. $4, baby!

How soon can we get a Ric Flair cut out for the OZone?

We lose without him today, no question.  A Man among boys.

And I agree that there is untapped potential there too.

And when he does, the 110 needs to have the Senegal National Anthem ready to go:

Can some explain to me the "Nature Boy" reference?  It's probably something from pop culture that I'm blissfully ignorant of.   Thanks.

Thanks for the link, but it goes to a blank center page with some not relevant menus on the left and an OSU score on the right and ads at the bottom.

Don't get it, it works for me. Try googling Ndour nature boy. it's from a Cleveland Plain dealer article about him that includes;

"N'dour goes by the nickname 'Nature Boy,' loves Reggae music, and was completely at ease with being a tall African in a country of smaller people at Okayama Gakugeikan High School in Japan."

Being from these parts, I can only assume he's a Ric Flair fan.  Not sure where Optimist is going.

Thanks, stub.  Link still doesn't work here, but I'll do the "google thing" (except I'm now using Bing).  I'll read the PD article.
