While RPI isn't especially helpful for individual teams yet, we have enough of a sample size to get something from conference RPI. So far, the MAC has a winning record against D-I (31-25) and looks like a decent association this year. I was very, very pessimistic about the conference this season, so this is better than what I anticipated. Some teams (Akron, Buffalo) still have room to grow, so I expect us to be in the 12-15 range for much of the season.

The RPI I saw had the MAC at 15, but the difference between 13 and 15 is only .0032.

Yeah I know it's too early to put much stock into them but, they have Buffalo ranked at 292.  I also didn't pay much attention to Western Michigan, but did see they were 5-2 but with an RPI of 259.  Then looking at the RPI, I saw their opponents are a combined 13-32.

Listened to Balls get killed by Cleveland State while at the Muncie Central game. Down 7 at half and got blown out the 2nd. Not sure where Cl St is projected to be in the league but Balls is gonna be in the middle of ours. Disheartening after playing Butler pretty tough to a close loss.

They're third, behind Green Bay & Wright St.
