We need Albin to teach these kids how to actually use up a clock.

That’s 5 errant bricks from 3 about 5 seconds into the clock since we’ve tied it up.

Absolutely zero jinxes have been uttered in this thread. Nope. None.
Reggie Bass WILL score 25+.

(Has anyone tried the reverse jinx?)
Love to see it.

I WILL EAT MY WORDS!!! HELL OF A WIN FOR THE BOBCATS!!!

It wasn't pretty but what a great defensive performance, holding Kent State to 57 points on 31.7% shooting. We showed some toughness in the 2nd half. Clutch 3 by M. Brown late. Proud of this squad!

Clayton hit an early 3 and completely disappeared. EJ4 is a shell of himself. Wiz has been awful and Sheldon gave us one circus layup. We are losing this one by 15+....mark it.
Hope you didn't take the alt-spred on FanDuel. Because you just lost that one.

Everybody has stunk it up tonight. My award goes to Hunter though he has been horrible.

Ha ha, he heard me.

Miles Brown in the clutch tonight was amazing!

A gritty, hard fought win. This team is building muscle for March!

I give Boals credit. He clearly wanted Reef to shoot out of his mess and it never happened. He had to sit him for the finish and he did. Sheldon brought life to this team in the final 7 minutes. I will also say it was great to see Reef engaged on the bench and rooting on his teammates. That stuff doesn't go unnoticed.

Hats off Miles Brown. That was a rough final three minutes against Toledo, but man did he make up for it tonight. Can’t put a price tag on experience.

When the season started, did you ever expect Sheldon and Captain Chaos to be on the floor together against Kent in the final five minutes of a close game? If you said yes, you are lying. I can’t say enough about the development and confidence these two have found in their sophomore seasons.

This team despite it's short comings has shown nothing but grit and toughness. They are learning to make plays and step up. Me, peronsally, I enjoy watching them.

We are going to play BG in the quarters. There's ample separation in both directions between us and BG at the 4/5 spots.
Can't decide if I like that or not, but we can't seem to find our way out of the 4-5 game. Feels live we've played in the 4-5 game twenty years in a row.

Still can't believe what CMU is doing. It's impressive and insane all at the same time. They basically locked up 3rd tonight. They have a cake schedule down the stretch.

I thought BG had a two game lead over the Kent/Miami/WMU cohort. Just one game and Kent has tie breaker. And BG is on a three game skid.

Yup...and I don't think I like Kent any better. But when it's all said and done...I think it will be either BG or Kent.

Kindly show me where I said JC was greatest OU coach in history.

The FACT you know sooooo little about college basketball does make me chuckle often. Your reactions to game after game suggests someone in maybe the 7th grade.

Now if we want to make comments on coaches we can ... you worship Boals, despise Saul, hate JC and love Groce.

And FYI, Groce at 53 percent winning MAC games at Ohio is mediocre by anyone's standards.

Jerry...time to take the L on this one and just quietly move on. You've been banging that 53% MAC Groce winning percentage for quite some time. Do yourself a favor and look up Jimmy C's career record in the NCAA and NIT. Once you see his career winning % in these tournaments, you might stop sending those Christmas fruit baskets to the Christian household every year.

Does anybody know since the MAC tournament started, how many times Ohio has played in the 4-5 game?

This kind of hurts. I would actually like to think I'm at least 8th grade level.

The times we waited until 5 or 6 seconds left on the shot clock to actually start looking for where to go for a shot. That's a problem.

Fortunately Kent started to look winded around 6 minutes left. You have to have your legs to hit jumps shots and their legs were gone late except the guard with the wild hair did launch one and make it from the other side of the Peden parking lot late in the game.
