Russ said during the Detroit game that Miles had a "lower body injury" but it "wasn't expected to be long term." The only word on IJ, according to Russ, was he was "unavailable." Boals told Marty after the game we're "banged up." A.J. briefly went to the locker room with his shoulder, Mitchell took a hard hit when he ran into a screen, Cornish had his left wrist wrapped and it looked like the Wiz tweaked his knee. No one seemed to have his minutes limited but with only nine scholarship players available at the moment we're a couple of injuries from a major problem.
And you do realize that we have The Cornish Hen and The Legacy as walk-ons who can step in and DOMINATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe Alec Burton can walk onto the court as well--dude was a hooper in high school!
I've mentioned it a few times and then it always gets buried and I forget where it's at, so apologies if someone has addressed it... but Jack Kenneally - our 6'7" TE/WR transfer from Youngstown State (that enrolled in school, but is not playing football????) was 1st team all-state in basketball at Elyria Catholic, 2nd team all-state in football.
It's possible he just wants to be a student, but we could definitely kick the tires on him and it wouldn't be a "project".
- Foster is also a big body that could push some people around. He's filled out this year I feel like, listed at 250. 6'7".
- Kacmarek was player of the year in st louis in lacrosse so he's used to the condition aspect. 6'6" 260.
- Though if we really want to get crazy lets get Rayyan Buell in a jersey. Absolutely no one getting position on him.
