Who's the old guy in the Ozone that thinks he's still in college?

If only the people actually in college would act like they were...present company and his friends excluded...maybe Norm wouldn't need to.
I admire his passion and willingness to help keep something alive that he values deeply. But, I question his method is helping. I've got 2 teens in the house and I can attest whatever the old guy tells them to do is instantly uncool and not the thing to do.

SHOOTER!
I have to agree. The leader of the student section should not be a senior citizen.
Then the students should probably step up.
This is just going to go in a circle. Re-read what Ruck said.
Just par for the course here, get a nice win and someone needs to complain about something. At least the pretzels and hand dryers seemed to be ok.

Kudos to The Whiz.

4 points
7 rebounds
2 fouls

For a very productive 13 and well above the projected O/U. He also set a solid screen and didn't commit a moving screen. Easily one of his two top performances in a Bobcat uniform. We would sign up for this every game. Keep it going Whiz
A post that I never thought I'd see. Serving a lot of that green Kool-Aid at your house? GW 2.0 may surprise us all.
Ha OCF...it's early in the season....I am cautiously and I mean CAUTIOUSLY optimistic. I still have limited expectations, but at least encouraged after one game. And when The Whiz plays well, FearLeon is going to step up and recognize it.

Ajay - I hate to say it, but he hasn't shown me anything new from his freshman year to first game of sophomore year. Almost had one of his passes picked off by a Troy defender. I hope he can develop behind J and Reef this year, junior year is going to be EXTREMELY crucial.
We’re likely portaling anyway, but with Sheldon the only PG on the roster for next season, this year is crucial. It’s sink or swim for him.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Reef possesses another year of eligibility for 24-25.
If he does, that’s fantastic. I thought this was it since he’s listed as a grad transfer on the team page.
I always believed that Reef had two years at Ohio as well. Covid year right? And whether Reef does or not...FJC31 is right..Boals will go portaling for another PG. This is a make or break year in my opinion for Sheldon. If there is no improvement, I don't see him sticking around at all. And again, we can't wait three years for guys to develop.

Who cares if what Norm says and does is "cool" or not? At least he's trying. We need more in the crowd with his energy and passion, not fewer.

And the truth is some in the section with me choose not to be loud, and I’ve learned that unless many others are doing it, they choose not to join in. It’s why I stand up the whole time, blow my voice out each game, actively start chants etc. Norm has been a massive help in assisting me, but I do think if I ask others to chant along with me it’s much more effective and less awkward than him doing it.

I thought I laid enough praise on, but apparently not. We absolutely need more of him, but is the student section the right spot for him? It's literally restricted to students. I have to imagine his presence prevents actual students from stepping up.
