I purchased the $500 category. My thought was I was planning an additional Bobcat Club donation this year anyway when I would be purchasing my season basketball tickets, in order to get to the membership level I have had for years. Considering they are essentially "waiving" the annual donation requirements this year, for members to maintain their membership level benefits until next year (season ticket seat locations, etc.), I felt like this was a way to continue my support level through this tough year for the department, staff, coaches, and team.

Also - I purchased a couple of the OHIO IMPACT T-Shirts (for me and family) to support that initiative. They are Very Cool!

Additionally - I purchased the Ohio Bobcats Holiday Pack. Was surprised that the included "mystery item" was a Jeff Boals signed Convo 50th Anniversary commemorative mini basketball - Nice!
Well done!

Great gift with the signed basketball. But the 50th anniversary was 2 years ago? And Saul was the coach, so my first thought was they are cleaning out storage 😎

LOL! Learning from the kids? It reads pretty snarky with the But, the question mark, the reference to Saul and the time reference. Pretty common these days to make a snarky comment then backpedal feigning intent that is different than it actually reads or inflects. Happens to me on a daily basis and usually with admonishment. I too, read it the way the respondent had. No surprise though, ever since you were Wannamaker you have been responding the same way so expectations stay the same. Never disappointed.

Really? The question mark was actually asking the question “wasn’t the 50th anniversary 2 years ago. Imagine that, I used a question mark because it actually was a question!

You do realize that the endowment is for educational purposes, right? If you can't see the need to help support the program in these difficult times, I'd ask why you even follow the Cats? Our teams are still competing; there are still costs associated with these games, including travel, medical expenses, s

Well how about that? I get to go to a game in the Convo due to my Virtual Convo Sellout contribution! Chose next Tuesday vs Akron. Hopefully my small crew of 3 will have an opportunity to do a mini Ozone Winning Team/Losing Team chant :)

I guess if someone wants to put themselves at risk by stepping off their front porch it's up to them but not me. I know how dangerous this is. It's dangerous enough that not a single general admission spectator can be inside the 13,000 seat convocation center. That's proof enough for me.

Can I ask at what level your contribution to the virtual sellout was?

Depends on current city of Athens mandate situation. Right now, masks would be required.

Gotcha. I'll wait to purchase my season tickets to see if masks will be required.

As right now, masks are required in every University building, regardless of vaccination status.
