I'll take the 1:00 pm timeslot any day. This gives Ohio a better chance to sell out IMO. People from the Cs will actually want to drive home 3 hours at 3-4 in the afternoon as opposed to 8-9.

I don't know how much people know about how good Toledo is this year but we need start promoting this game right now. I'm with DFC. Sell this game out.

I think it was originally a 6 or 7 pm start, but it was obviously changed to fit the slot on ESPNU. I expect around 10k will show up.

Fantastic. When our game times were originally announced, the Toledo game still had a TBA. Then about a week ago, I saw that the time was changed to 6:00. 1:00 is much, much more attractive than 11AM. Should be a fun one.

That will be a very fun one to watch and we should promote it big time but lets try to get people at the Akron game this Sunday first. The Akron game is just as big and we should try to get just as big of a crowd

Don't mind the time change...but is there any conference that bows down to TV more than the MAC??

Plenty. Any conference that has more TV games than the MAC, bows down more. For example, in the A-10, St. Louis is playing Dayton at 11 AM tomorrow.

According to my tickets this is also a blackout game.  Superbowl weekend too so sports will be the main topic of conversation that weekend everywhere and then not again until March madness.  Could be an actual crowd that rivals DePaul, OSU and KY from the 80's and 90's.

The 'bend for TV' argument is history.  TV, fortunately, won when OHIO FOOTBALL dominated for a couple of years in mid-week MACtion.  Need we really explain the importance of the exposure of TV?

My first thought was the first thought posted here:  Full house.

This could be a terrific game.

unfortunately no. They moved dads weekend to fall and sibs weekend is the next weekend when we play Miami.

We could potentially have some high attendance games with Akron, Toledo, and Miami.

My predictions:
Akron: 9,500
Toledo: 12,300
Miami: 8,700
