The EMU crowd is stunningly bad. I guess it's not a surprise but jeesh. How the heck do they get kids to go there?

In-state tuition for Ohio residents helps.

32-14 at the half. EMU might as well be up by 50.

1,049 in attendance for EMU, one of their bigger crowds of the year.

I was mainly thinking of getting basketball players to go there.

They must only have recruits visit during the off-season or non-game days.

That, or they blindfold them for the game, pump in sounds from our arena and tell them "Yup, the Convocation Center is truly the loudest arena in the MAC."

Miami Basketball started doing that during hockey and football weekends a few years back. Not sure that is still the case but it was fofr a while.

Perhaps fanbase isn't important to some.

Perhaps it is their best offer, the only school withtheir program or like BUGS and Kron is one of the places with low enough standards that they are a qualifier. I know we have passed on guys who attended all of the schools mentioned above because they could not meet the OHIO admission standards. IF your offer is Samford or EMU and you are from Flint....where ya headed?  Most of that Roster is from within 60 miles of Campus.

They aren10-6 and 2-1. That depresses me looking at their home crowds. How can a program with no fans have a solid team? Hopefully the fans start to show up. That Syracuse zone D is gonna cause MAC schools fits.
