I understand that sometimes you are outplayed, but we're being outworked tonight.  Embarassing.  No offense at all.

9-0 run!  Some stops, pushed tempo and we're back in this.  Gotta keep it up.

Up three with the shot clock turned off, I start yelling "FOUL!  FOUL!"  The cat was giving me a judgmental glare of disappointment.

Wow, two games of terrible play in a row and we storm back to win it.  Great comeback boys!

I quit watching when the Cats were down by 18, but I still couldn't resist peeking every 5 minutes or so. This confirms it. It is bad luck for me to watch. What a comeback! I still can not believe what happened in this game! Need to take my heart meds now. Go Cats! A W is a W!

The place looked and sounded dead from the opening tip. No energy until the defense chant after we made our big run.

Mo with 21-11 on 7-11 shooting.  Nick had a horrible game from the field but was 8-8 from the FT line. Jon a rebound shy of a double double.  TJ with a nice bounce back game in the offensive end (but the high foul rate continues).

Made the the same number of FG and 3s as CMU, but took 5 and made 4 more FT. One thing I will say Is this team will not give up... No 'tater how bad it looks.

Per ESPN, no Campbell tonight.  I don't remember seeing him. Did I miss why?

Team definitely has no quit in it but just don't see enough consistency on either end of the floor to finish at the top of the MAC. Hope they get hot in march or prove me wrong.

I just can't get a read on us or the rest of the MAC. We could reach NCAA tournament or finish tenth in the MAC and a first round exit in the tournament.  We got a couple really nice wins vs good teams Mercer and Richmond, but we struggle with 200 plus rpi teams at home in conference play.  If tonite's game was in Mt Pleasant we likely lose by 25. We woke up just in time to pull us out of our own butts.  We won't be lucky against Toledo. Team that are 17-2 know how to put teams away and early.

I get what you are saying, but right now we are tied for 2nd in the MAC......

This team is frustrating but we have lost only 2 games... While both were home they were both 1 posession loses.... I am not ready to count us out in this conference yet...

There is something to be said for winning.

YOu guys need to come on in the friendly confines.......click the ChAT button in the top bar......we need more roller coaster posters in there.

This team is finding ways to win....keep thinking it is gonna bit em in the arse but it certainly seperates out those who are faint of heart.

I guess there are a couple ways to look at it:

(a) This is a team that doesn't know how to play together. And when they're off, you get a horrible first half @ NIU, a horrible loss to BG, a really ugly win @ EMU that only worked out because EMU went into prevent-offense mode, and a really ugly win against a really bad CMU team. That isn't going to work the rest of the schedule and into tourney play.

(b) This is a team that was an unknown at the beginning of the season, and now that conference opponents have had a chance to scout a little bit more, is finding it more difficult. The slow starts are unsurprising given that the team is still learning how to play as a unit, but there is enough talent there to pull out the wins.

What I would like to see is a leader on the court.....the guy who you know will take over a game when you need some momentum, or die trying. At times it's looked like that would be NDour, others Nick, and others Stevie. Mo probably has the skills to be that guy, but I don't know if he has the personality (he's shown glimpses....he was a rebounding machine at EMU for example), and JC has a pretty short leash on Stevie. So that leaves Nick, but again it seems like he disappears at times he should dominate.

Just some rambling thoughts.....the rest of you seem happy with the way we've played. Maybe I'm just spoiled from the successes of the past few years, but I really thought we would look better than we have these past 4 games, especially with how we looked in non-conference play.

I'm really not looking forward to Saturday. Hoping the guys surprise me.

I like when people brag that they don't get emotionally invested in rooting for the Bobcats.

I'm beginning to love this team. It's volatile. Sometimes laughably bad. Sometimes really good. Unstable. I'm riding this wave of schizophrenic basketball as far as it takes us.

I got to consider the Bobcats losing by 35 to an 0-6 MAC team and cheer a giant comeback in the same game. THAT'S INSANITY.

I love this team.  I have from the beginning.  I love them because they are not the most talented group but they play hard.  Although, they are much, much too unselfish.  On a side note: I don't think I have ever seen a team with so many willing, yet poor, interior passers in my lifetime.

To everyone else, start drinking the kool-aid, it is going to be a really fun and frustrating rest of the season.
