A lot of people on this board have been clamoring for more minutes for Campbell. It's pretty easy to see why; he's an enticing talent.
This is one case, though, I'm putting my trust in the coaching staff. I get the feeling they have a very deliberate plan for Campbell and bringing him along. It seems to be working. Maybe his production would fall off with more minutes. Maybe he'd soar. But I'll go with what's been working so far. Thoughts?
I'll stick my neck out and say exactly what I think, as you (often) seem uncomfortable to do about anything not perfectly verifiable by "facts". Thats what fan forums are for - tossing about with "opinions".
I don't think JC and staff put together a plan back in October that started with "let's have AC increasingly play more minutes through the year, say start with just a couple, then as we have players get injured like we know is gonna happen with Ric, and that nagging back issue that is gonna come up with Mo, then start to have those minutes increase at an exponential rate in mid-February. With more time on the court he will not only get better and begin to contribute more, but we will also begin to look like coaching genuises. OK? Clap, break".
Yes - they have a plan for everything. The AC plan seems pretty ordinary for a Frosh.
