Not me.

This season isn't about getting pissed about a tough loss. It's about fighting through that, knowing we can beat Akron and Buffalo. Let's go. We're banged up. Let's go.

From what the chat was like, I'd say we are past that point...

Losing at home is the worst. If we can go get a road win at Kron Saturday, all of a sudden we will be in a position to come back home and take control of the division.

I highly doubt our team is giving up. I trust them to fight back.

All of this.

Tonight was the beginning of the stretch run, IMO. Started off poorly. Room for BIG improvement with Akron and Buffalo at home for the Green Fever game.

Time to roll, Bobcat fans -- are you in?

I was impressed the way we continued to fight until the very end.  This team has no quit in them.  They've come back too many times this year to give that theory any credence.  The shots were not falling tonight for anyone.  We missed wide open threes that we usually make.  We missed point blank layups.  I just caulk this up to "one of those nights."  My wife said sarcastically, "Just life at home in the MAC"!  Seriously, though the home losses this year are puzzling, I fully expect this team to keep fighting.  Tonight WMU was so much bigger than we were both in height and bulk most of the time and I think that had an impact.  We had situations all night where a guy like Stevie Taylor is guarding a 6-4 guard.  5-10 on 6-4 is a difficult matchup.  Truthfully, WMU looked like the best team I've seen in the Convo in quite awhile.  But, I'm not giving up on our guys.  Go OHIO!

I guess you would say they were consistent all night...then again someone somewhere on here said you don't have to be consistent to win.  Well, if you are NOT consistent against good teams (like OHIO last night) the results will turn out much like last night!

My thoughts, exactly.  They had a few turnovers, but they played a very solid, fundamentally sound game.  That was a 10 point loss that felt like a 30 point loss.  All the hustle plays, all the loose balls, all the 50/50 plays seemed to go Western's way.

I haven't seen anything to indicate that WMU isn't far and away the best team in the Conference this year. It's absolutely mind-boggling to me that they have three losses. I hate (HATE!) home losses. I was super pi$$ed after the Akron and BG games. But last night... I wasn't that pissed because WMU is just flat out better than us and they are a matchup nightmare. I wanted to beat them and thought we had a shot at home, but those !@#$% have their !@#$* together.

And two of Western's losses in the MAC were by 20 points.  It is hard to figure, but anything can happen in conference play.

I do agree that the Broncos are very, very good.  And they are getting better as the season progresses.

On behalf of certain poster who gives us our football orthodoxy, there was nothing wrong with the WMU game.  After all, our bench outscored theirs 21-2 and we shot 47.2% from the field.  Everything was good.  No one could for an instant doubt the quality of our play.
