Kent State is putting a scare into #1 seed Toledo right now. I think Kent holds on and the #1 seed falls in the first game.

BGSU vs. CMU

Everybody on this board seems high on BG, but I don't feel it. I'm going with CMU in their surprise season to advance.

Miami vs. Akron

Both playing sloppy lately, this game (hopefully) could be ugly. I think Akron wins though, but in a close one.

OHIO vs. WMU

Thinking it won't be too close. I think we work them over like we did with Miami in the second half last week. We move to play on Friday against Akron.

I like your CMU except that their best player and all-MAC performer Pritchard missed their last game or two. Not sure if he's back today. But then again, Kent is upsetting top seed UT without it's best player, Payton.

Too late to pick the Kent upset. But I am going with a Miami upset of Akron.

Toledo flat out stinks in the post season, what is up with that? They've won four straight regular seasons. Coach Krumble?

Truly Unbelievable. Toledo crapping their bed in Cleveland, a tradition unlike any other.

They are heading to their 5th straight NIT (probably would be 6 if we finished 2020). They are currently on a 9 game NIT losing streak. Just been a horrific time in March for Toledo.

I think they have 18 regular season crowns and one-yep one MAC tourney title, the very first one. It is amazing how bad the Rockets are in March. That first one was 44 years ago I think.

Today was hardly the shocker that it's been in previous years. We all knew Kent was a dangerous 8 and Toledo wasn't a dominant force like recent years. you could say they backed into the 1 with Akron faltering down teh stretch, but hey, they went 14-4 to earn the reg season title. I don't know if it stings any less for them. Mostly it just makes me more pissed we lost to them at home this season.

I won't be pulling for one team over another in the Akron/Miami game, but I certainly hoping that it is a bruising game that is a dogfight until the end. Don't want anybody to earn extra rest time.
