I missed the midweek baseball game at Wren Stadium, a 21-19 pitchers' duel, but I gotta believe the first half of this game has to be equally ugly as that game. What do you think, BTC?

Oh but it DOES mean something.

WMU leads Akron by 7 with 5 to play.

If WMU wins, BG wins, and we win - we'd actually play 12-19 WMU in the first round.

Mess around and lose and we're getting Miami or BG.

OK, shabamon, we need a rating on that put-back slam by AJ. At least a 3, maybe a 4, no? EJ was ready to grab that rebound below the rim before AJ went up a little bit higher.

Anyone else noticed that this second half has had an under-14 minute time out and an under 12-minute time out? At least according to the ESPN+ announcer.

Watching this game leaves me pining for Ohio-Miami games from the 1980s and 1990s. With Ron Harper, Wally Z, Devin Davis wearing the red and white while John Devereaux, Snoopy Graham, Dave Jamerson, Gary Trent, etc. . . wearing the green and white.

If they were white they would be CRISP. Back in the Luckett era they had a cursive Ohio in white that was nice.

Now that we're up 22 (assuming we hang on)

If BG wins we get WMU in Cleveland.
If Ball St wins it depends on Kent/Toledo whether we get WMU or BG.

I like our away uniforms, but I'm not a fan of our home unis.

But Miami's uniforms are next level awful.
