10.5 point favorites in Buffalo.

By the way, Akron is 20.5 point favorites over EMU. You rarely see over 20 in the MAC.
Torvik also predicting a 10pt spread 80-70.

I'll take this year's Miami's freshmen class over OUr freshmen class in a landslide. No comparison. End of discussion.
I think most of us would trade Wiz for Potter right now.

And Potter is not hardly Anthony Davis. But he is REALLY tall.

And is shooting 52% from three in the limited sample size available.

And only averages one turnover per game which is good for a freshman.

Just win. This is another game where I don't care about style points, just leave with a W and a healthy team.

No, pound them like OHIO abused NIU on Saturday last.

Kind of pointless these days to compare rosters in terms of the future. Neither OU nor Miami (nor anyone else) can make assumptions.

Boals could have gone for the kill in the last 4:28…up 11….but he insists on inserting The Whiz and takes Hadaway and Clayton out who aren’t in foul trouble. And you see what happened. I will never understand it. How many times can a 7 footer get their shot blocked?

I'd rather him not dip himself so low on his spin moves, but he was clearly fouled on one of those and it was missed.

Buffalo immediately went zone the second Wiz replaced Clayton. And attacked him on the offensive side. He's going to struggle against athletic bigs for sure - which Buffalo has (and BG did as well). Have to understand matchups.

Clayton needs breathers. But tonight might be a game when you go small with Hadaway or Cornish or even EJ4 for a 4 minute stretch instead.

While Chatman is not the best player in the MAC, is he the best NBA prospect in the MAC?

Up 15….sits Hadaway and Clayton and you know what happens next. Lead down to 7. I will never understand it. You can’t force 11 to play in Cleveland.

Very weird substitutions barely two minutes into the second half.

And who on BA were hoping Sheldon would get more minutes from Reef or Miles?

Nice win.

It's a shame Sy Chatman is rotting away in Buffalo this season. We probably could have crushed them more but Boals ran some experiments with the backups in the 1st half.

Reef is playing his best basketball and Clayton is locked in.

Jaylin contributes without scoring but man, he needs to get going on offense.

Agee an athlete? Most definitely. Not to mention a man among boys.
Spurgin an athlete? Most definitely not. Quite possibly less athletic than OUr own big man Wiz.

We went in and did what we needed to do. Hopefully a comfortable win away from the Convo will give us more confidence going into the MAC Tournament.

Clayton was stellar and I feel like everything is coming together well at the end of the season. If Hunter can get out of his slump, the Bobcats will be tough to beat in Cleveland.

I still wonder why some follow OHIO sports or basketball in general when all they can do is bitch, moan or whine even when they win. But hey, I’m glad they are doing them.

Miles Brown line really stands out.

8 points, 4 boards, 4 assists, 4 steals.

He was everywhere tonight.

Boals should try to get a Reggie Bass style transfer from Sy.

Nice win today. 5 straight. Think that’s 11 of 13 or 14. Boals has them locked in.

Akron dropped one to EMU at home.

This is what worries me about the "if we win it all in Cleveland" scenario.

Having to play some team with multiple Sy Chatmans all over the court in the NCAA tournament. BTW - Chatman is better than that Durant wanna-be at Dayton.

I don't want to be that guy. I'm happy that the math says we have a 40-1 or so shot at a MAC co-championship since Akron lost as as 21.5 point favorite. But I have to add that the fact that we are still alive in that with 1 game left says more about the sad state of MAC basketball than it does the strength of Ohio basketball. I haven't gone back and looked but if that were to happen I have to believe that we would be the least impressive champion in MAC history and given how Akron looks lately and the nature of 1 and done tournaments someone with an even lesser resume than Ohio might be in the NCAA Tournament. Seeing the MAC on the 16 line would be a tough pill to swallow.

If the MAC Champion is not Akron, Toledo or Ohio...I think the team that survives would be no worse than a 15.

Sad state of affairs in the MAC may be right on. How can Akron lose at home on Senior Night to a bottom feeder? Is there a byline here like Freeman and Ali resting? I don’t think there are many 21.5 point dogs who win during a season. This might be one of the only ones. Probably like a $5000 return on $10.

And Toledo just annilating Miami in Oxford. I am surprised the Mercy Rule wasn’t implemented. If they had left their starters go a bit longer they could have won by 50. I am sure Miami isn’t interested in playing at home on Friday. Or maybe some secret strategy to get OU to not take them seriously? Don’t think I would have gone to that extreme though.
