What are the chances this game is even played tomorrow? And Saturday is AT Buffalo.
Boals has to finish 5-5 to stay above .500
Which would give us 16 wins in back-to-back seasons. Not great.
I don't think they're gonna fire an alum who has never had a below .500 season, but he's on the hot seat, and it's getting warmer. Next year if they start slow...
That said - we're still playing for three days in Cleveland. Currently we're sitting at 5 vs 4 Toledo. Same as last season. Get hot and make a run. Or we're looking for trouble in 2027.
This team is making no run in Cleveland. Our athleticism is off the charts bad even by MAC standards.
And even if we don't lose any possible returning guys to the portal, we already will be losing over 60% of the scoring, 50% of the rebounds, 77% of the assists, 75% of the steals, 74% of 3 pointers made... who thinks two more Reynoldsburg guys plus a few more portal scrubs can make up that difference?
Welcome to next years dead-man-walking Boals season unless the plug is pulled sooner.
