I do - sorta. We played like we can. 'Kron played like what they are.

My biggest concern remains WMU.

We played very, very well.  Defense was there.  Nick--just keeps making case for POY.  Today, Jon and Bean deserve special mention.  But how can one not mention Mo, Wilkins, Setty, Campbell, Stevie, TJ.  Did I miss anyone?

I love that we made progress at points today with Nick and Bean on the bench--yeah, only Stevie, limited as he is now, at true guard.

JC does a nice job of interspersing the zone with our base man defense.

Just a nice afternoon.

Also, Michael Reghi's hair deserves special mention.  I like him, but what is that?

Everybody played great today, but I like Setty's grit.  Once he starts to drive toward the hoop, he takes it all the way.  I haven't seen him stop for a 15-footer all year.

I feel goooood.

Feel so good for Jon and Travis. Playing awesome. TJ did quite well on defense & rebounding but struggled offensively.

Played a decent amount of mins with Nick and N'Dour on the bench,  too.

Count me in that group !   I thought we were in trouble going to Akron today.  Wow, what a way to bounce back.  What a fun game this is when the ball is going in the goal !  Great job by J.C. and his staff to pick up the pieces after the WMU outing !

I gotta say I think the coaches stamps were all over this game. We played OUr game - and as good as we have all year - with more energy and determination - I have to think JC had something to do with that. "Kron played "their" game - also with energy and determination - assume KD had something to do with that. We played better "TEAM" ball - and WE won - I think a defining difference between JC and KD.

Note - Both teams played with depleted rosters - that was a wash.

He looked really smooth tonight.

I do feel better but I really expect that we will have to win out to ensure a bye at Cleveland.  If we beat Buffalo this week, we, Buffalo and Akron would each have five losses (at least).  The loser of the Akron-Buffalo game on March 4 would have at least six.  Getting a bye would be a lot cleaner if we win out.

We hit Akron at the right time with Harney and especially Kretzer not available.  Kretzer has it in for us and not having him get 15 or 20 tonight really helped.

Heading into the Buffalo road game, if you had come on here and said Ohio wins 2 of the next 3, I think everyone on here takes that deal. Now that it has happened, I am sure it is still end of the world. (read: not fun)

Good win. If we win Wednesday all of a sudden we are in first place in the MAC East.

Just finished watching the game via DVR, since I had a meeting at the time the game was played.  I feel much better than on Wednesday.  I keep being so impressed with Travis.  He not only scored key baskets -- setup threes, pull up jumpers, etc., he also had key rebounds, key takeaways, an assist or two, and seemed to give the rest of the team a different energy when he was in.  Smith's put backs were also important keys at crucial times as were some of his rebounds and blocks.  Everyone played a good game, but these two stand out to me.  Go OHIO!

Its nice a win but it doesn't change the calculus for Cleveland. With the shorthanded roster to have a legit chance up in Cleveland we would need to finish #1 or #2 and that looks out of the cards. We might be as well off to not get the bye but win a couple extra games as a home team to pad the 2013-14 win totals.
