They were applying pressure for much of the second half and it mostly didn't bother the Bobcats too much. The last turnover charged to Bean, I'm not really sure what happened. The ball seemed to get knocked right to a BG player in front of the rim for an easy dunk to cut it to seven, but Kellogg took the next inbounds pass all the way to the hoop for an and-one. I think four turnovers for Bean against a team that was pressing the majority of the second half isn't too bad.
and watching there, i would say only 3 were on him. but a couple of them were head-scratchingly bad...
that said, he shot the ball well and it was interesting to watch the team play without Ndour. i thought they played well and it could pay dividends next week. don't know what level Nature Boy will be next week, but i like what i see from Campbell and even Treg. Treg does some silly things, but he will only get better and I sure like how agressive he is taking it to the hole.
don't know if others saw it, but after one of campbell's dunks he ran past the bg bench - said nothing with his mouth but plenty with his face - LOVED it. i prefer OUr guys with an attitude and Campbell's showed nicely last night.
Expected to get hammered last night and the Cats just simply said - not tonight. it helped that Orr is an awful coach. How they beat us so soundly in Athens I haven't a clue.
