The BG game was the best I've ever seen Bean play.  His ball handing, passing and shooting were top-notch.  I'm hoping that this is his personal coming out party and that he'll be the "new Bean" the rest of the year and into next year.  I don't want to see the old Bean back.

Agree wholeheartedly! He played under control; no headlong dashes into a crowded lane, didn't pick up his dribble in the corner, and made simple plays.  That's all he has to do.  The great shooting was a bonus.  On the down side, he did give up a bit of dribble penetration, but that may be expected due to the prolonged minutes he has to play.  Due to the bad TV coverage I missed the last 4 minutes.  Saw on the play by play he had 2 late TOs.  What happened there?

Don't know.  I had the same total dropout at about that same time.

His best games have been on the road this year.

Hope he continues playing well into the Tourney - I have a hunch that he will.

There was about a two-minute stretch after we got up by 11 again that it seemed the whole team just lost focus.  BGSUcks didn't take full advantage of it, but did get back within 6 or 7.

They were applying pressure for much of the second half and it mostly didn't bother the Bobcats too much. The last turnover charged to Bean, I'm not really sure what happened. The ball seemed to get knocked right to a BG player in front of the rim for an easy dunk to cut it to seven, but Kellogg took the next inbounds pass all the way to the hoop for an and-one. I think four turnovers for Bean against a team that was pressing the majority of the second half isn't too bad.

and watching there, i would say only 3 were on him. but a couple of them were head-scratchingly bad...

that said, he shot the ball well and it was interesting to watch the team play without Ndour. i thought they played well and it could pay dividends next week. don't know what level Nature Boy will be next week, but i like what i see from Campbell and even Treg. Treg does some silly things, but he will only get better and I sure like how agressive he is taking it to the hole.

don't know if others saw it, but after one of campbell's dunks he ran past the bg bench - said nothing with his mouth but plenty with his face - LOVED it. i prefer OUr guys with an attitude and Campbell's showed nicely last night.

Expected to get hammered last night and the Cats just simply said  - not tonight.  it helped that Orr is an awful coach. How they beat us so soundly in Athens I haven't a clue.

Bean Salad Surgery

Got to love a good ELP reference. www.youtube.com/watch

bean seems to be adapting and handling the load better each game. ST looks like he wants to be there BADLY. Nick does a nice job at times settling everything down and getting the team back focused.

Just need more of good Bean
