Thanks for posting.  I'm' not a fan of this vagabond, and I'm not sad to see his chickens coming home to roost.

Here is another interesting article -
http://therealsportsandstuff.com/2014/02/28/why-i-stopped-drinking-the-calipari-kool-aid/

Living here in the heart of the Big Blue Nation, I can assure you these True Blue Fans are not happy!

And this is the team that many around here at the beginning of this season said was going to have a perfect 40-0 season (that is up until the Michigan State game).

Thanks for posting. Good article and well thought out compelling repartee.

My favorite part of this was concerning the offensive mindset. I have been rolling a thought around in my head after reading the thread on chaos theory and overcoaching advanced by STAT GEEKS, many of whom have never played the game nor coached and do not understand how different the HS or college athlete is from the highly polished guys in the NBA who can go get their own. I think he nailed what I have been brooding over trying to put my finger on for a day now.......every fanbase goes bonkers and pisses and moans about when they see chaos.

. The “offense”, an endearing term that would make James Naismith roll over in his grave if he knew I was calling what UK tries to run “offense” is a mess,

I read many boards, listen to many fans, watch many games and listen to many commentators and this comment keeps coming up regarding how offenses run and kids score. Glad to read this and am thinking about a cogent response to the other thread that reflects how fans view letting the players go create their own offense....perhaps even pulling some responses from this board going back a few years. The premise that coaches should not have an offense in place and enforce execution of that offense is like nails on a blackboard to many fans who actually watch and understand the mentation of the vast majority of athletes competing at this level. Obviously the best talent in the NCAA right now is not thriving on chaos.

I'm not against the "one and done" concept at all, though I think hoops going to a model similar to college baseball would be more useful for both student and the institution.   That said, isn't becoming rather obvious that a whole team of "one and done" type kids isn't cutting it anymore?  Teams need to be built into teams over the course of multiple seasons to be successful in the long run.

I love this one:  Q: Can the 40-0 T-shirts people have been using to wax their cars be forwarded to the good people of Wichita? Just in case?

I fully confess I'm a big blue hater, much in the same way during the fall I'm a scarlet & gray hater.  But I will also admit Coach Cal sold me on himself a bit over the last couple years, and has sadly taken a step back with this past weekend's situation.
