While at Ohio's final home regular-season game I wondering which MAC opponent has the best/most traveling fans. I have any idea, but many on here make it to more home games than I can and I was wondering what you think.

I voted for Kent, but in reality, Bowling Green women' basketball fans have all of them beat.

Like it or not, Buffalo may be the best pure sports town in the MAC.

I voted Kent, also.  I saw a lot of Flashes fans in the Convo on Senior Day.

Other MAC teams have fans that travel to away games?  I rarely see anyone other than family members of oppossing teams in the Convo.  I'll bet more OU fans were in Asheville this year than any MAC team has had in the Convo in decades.

Marshall (not MAC - these days).

Think about it - Marshall. Huntington W VA - in the middle of nowhere, and.............. it's Marshall.

All the other MAC schools should be absolutely embarrassed............

I got to go with BG women's fans. They are out in numbers.

On the men's side only fans I recall came down from Akron and a few less from Kent. Beefs usually have the bus driver. Western when they had kids from Indiana had the parents ....never remember much orange in the Convo or at the Q. We really have the only truly mobile fanbase. I have met Ohio fans in numbers in EVERY MAC arena and from Fairfax to Philly to Tulsa

I recall a number of Kent State fans on a few occasions over the last 5-10 years.  Maybe some small numbers of Miami and 'Kron fans, but that's about it.

You should add a "N/A" answer option, because that's my vote

Anybody know what happened to "Samuel L. Jackson" from Akron? Last time I saw him was the Convo game in 2011 (the pre-black seat days, good times!)

The McKnights' father? He died of cancer (I think) a couple years ago.

Yup he passed right after they graduated. The boys were playing in Europe and came home for the funeral. I was in Lancaster that weekend but did not get word till it was to late to stop by and pay respects.
