Win and advance. Playing Miami is always tough.....winning is twice the glory, losing twice the pain. Glad we got the glory.

I cannot guarantee that our victory will be by a fractional integer.

TJ/Setty/AC score combined 25 we win

And they scored 0.  Bean, for all the criticism by some here, was really big IMO tonight. When we're down 2 47 - 45 he hit 2 back to back 3's to get us back up by 4.  Nick obviously played well, as we badly needed with little offensive support besides Mo.

It was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to Miami's radio team on the air here in Southwest Ohio have to swallow a third straight loss to our Bobcats tonight.

Their final in game words were essentially "5..4...3...2...1...and that's the end of the season for the Miami Redhawks."

I know they are down right now but its still as sweet as ever to beat them.  I always replay the Grunkenmeyer three in my mind after we take them down and then relish in the fact that we have defeated them more often than not since that storied game now 13 years ago and enjoy every moment.

Go Bobcats!  Time to avenge our last loss at the Q!

We are 4.5 point favorites.

Wow, Vegas must really like us.

It's all that action that 695 has going out there right now.

If he did bet the Bobcats, that was one heckuva cover. 7 points in the last 38 seconds to go from 56-55 to 63-55.

Casper quote from earlier in the thread:

"We take care of business and we win by 7-8.  But as JC says, this is a tough opponent and we better be ready."

Not the way I envisioned it but we took care of business.  Sorry I had to get negative in the Chatroom to make it happen!

Go bobcats!

Gutty win last night.  Bean and Stevie hit huge shots late, and Nick found a way to score without the 3 ball really working.  What was he, 2/8 from 3? Hopefully Wilkins is OK, if there's one thing we can't deal with right now it's more injuries.

Was it just my imagination, or did I hear the crowd chanting the time out second by second that Felder was at the line?  I was the one who brought up after the Miami game at home that I was getting past a 10 count on most of his free throws.  Attempt to get the refs attention?

Not your imagination, there were about 15-20 people in the Ohio section counting.  They got to 10 before he shot, and didn't even start right when he got the ball.

Just saw the Miami cheer squad at the Polaris Mall food court.  Yes, most were wearing Northfaces.  Who the hell stops at a shopping mall for lunch when traveling on the highway, especially considering the weather they are about to hit?  But once they finished eating, they headed for the stores and it all made sense at that moment.  So if they miss tip tonight, it isn't just because of the weather but J Crew as well.

Lol. I'm not entirely sure if you're hating on Northfaces, but I wear one and they're extremely warm and windproof.  Don't hate

I'm sure it is a fine product, but they are so ridiculously expensive.  If I amassed 100 million dollars, I still don't think I could swallow paying those prices for a glorified sweatshirt.  But they are immensely popular among Miami students, because, obviously.

Our new next door neighbors are both Miami grads, nice people (though don't care about the Redhawks are big Buckeye fans, of course)...But even their 2 year old son has an ensemble of Northface attire.

I guess since it was Felder's last game, my hope of seeing him get called on that by a ref has died.  Pity.

On the bright side, now that Miami's season is over, Josh Oswald can go get his hair cut finished.

I checked the Miami media guide and Ohio's 7 straight wins against Miami are the most since the Bobcats reeled off 11 straight from Feb. 22, 1938 to Feb. 20, 1943.
