Hmmmm, the Orange haven't been playing great as of late and Western Michigan has a pretty dynamic offense/playmakers that can challenge that zone a bit. Plus, as a MAC-man I am going to be optimistic and say the EMU zone has prepared the Broncos for this game.

Thought the exact same thing. If you are going to pick a sub-12 seed to advance, you have to give WMU a fighter's chance for that very reason.

Clark Kellogg twice tried to talk up the Broncos during the selection show. I guess he was impressed watching them cut us up in the Convo.

Interesting. The Broncos fans have the exact opposite opinion; Syracuse was the team they did not want to draw. Apparently EMU's Syracuse-style zone gave them fits.

Creighton is the 3 seed you want to play.  A good team from an over-rated conference.

Syracuse is a nightmare matchup.  Long, athletic, crazy zone.  I won't be picking the upset.

Bummer too because I think WMU is on a serious roll right now.  

Does anyone think they deserved better than a 14 seed?

This could be a crazy tournament.  Nobody is safe.

WMU screwed w/that 14 seed. Also pretty much a home game for 'Cuse. If WMU controls the game tempo (which they could possibly do), limit turnovers and hit shots - they could pull out a win. But that is a tough challenge and a bad seed for the one MAC entry.

All tO$U and Dayton fans (they will have a few there) will be rooting for WMU - but still pretty much a home game for 'Cuse

I haven't read their comments on the Syracuse matchup but overall the WMU fanbase seems exceedingly pessimistic.

I think there were a lot of people who thought Georgetown was a terrible draw for Ohio a few years back because the Bobcats wouldn't have the size to match the Hoyas.
