The official line is "travel issues."  But IPFW is now playing VMI.  So they could get to Lexington, Virginia but Wright State can't?

Wright State might be more of a "marque" matchup anyway.  Who knows, after Saturday maybe Ohio's the last team left in the state of Ohio still playing in a basketball tournament!

I'd be happy if Dayton were still playing as well.

Bet the change was based on who was willing to pony up for a home game and who wasn't.  Any team suddenly willing to pay the $30k would send ripples through the rest of the bracket/schedule.

Why don't we just start a collection here and buy our way to the championship? Toss in an extra $5k a week, say, and pick who want taken out along the way.

When does the bidding for home court advantage start anyway? Do you have to win first or not?

Well it would be silly to do so after losing.

How do they decide who gets homecourt if two programs set to face each other want homecourt? Highest average attendance... I don't know the averages of every single school but I gotta think we are #1...

I realize this tournament isn't all that popular with some but I kinda really wanna win this thing and I would love to do it in my freshman dorm.

While Wright State is a more attractive matchup, this is the definition of a bush league tournament. Changing opponents at the last second, bidding for home games etc

Well, if the origin of "bush league" is in reference to teams that would play away from cities in rural areas (where the bush had to be cleared for a playing surface), then yes this is an accurate description.
