To learn how to win games at home. At least that's how it looks from near the frozen tundra of Tierra del Fuego! :-). Really upset I've missed two and now three home games. Note to self: plan future trips better, avoid March and early April.

Also to win without much support from the seniors.  They've been pretty quiet these two games -- they combined for 10 pts and 8 assts vs CSU & 8pts and 5 assts vs WSU.  The guys who have stepped up the past two games are the guys we'll count on next season.  If I were a coach with Ohio early in my schedule next season I'd forget about the rest of this season and scout these games.

I have a feeling more than one of our senior leaders either didn't want to play or because of injury just cannot go.  Not sure which of the above but it is obvious the performers are the returning players.  I'd also say what the heck has happened to ndour lately?  Is he that injured or what?  He has not played like he did early on either...probably just the beating you take over the long haul?

I'm no doctor and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but from my point of view in the Convo N'Dour does not look healthy.  He is not playing with the same energy he had most of the year and he is not getting off the floor much for boards, contesting shots, or even on dunk attempts.  He bricked a dunk off the front of the rim against CSU that he would have thundered down a month ago.  He looks like a guy who is fighting through injury to provide whatever he can.

He's been dealing with back problems since at least early Feb.

Nick Kellogg had an interesting quote the other day.   He said it was great that they were able to play in the CIT because the Seniors have had a lot of postseason success but most of the other guys on the roster haven't.  It was going to be good to show them how they approached each game and practice and pass along a little wisdom.  Joe Gibbs once said that the best coaches he ever had were the Redskins' veteran players because they showed the younger guys how it's done.

Changing gears a little, but after last game Jim Christian was asked why so many slow starts and he said that he thought a lot of it was because they haven't been able to practice 5 on 5 since the end of January because they don't have enough healthy bodies.

I know he has been hurting, I was implying I don't know what the specific injury is.  "Back injury" is all I have heard and that's a long ways from specific.
