When I saw the figures below, I was a bit underwhelmed. I assumed Christian's buyout was higher than it is. I realize that coaches don't like high buyouts which could make it tough for Schaus to sneak it in when we sign a guy, but still would prefer it be higher.
This kind of figure isn't going to stop anyone from coming in and stealing our coach. I assumed it would at least be 1 mil off the bat, although I am sure that wouldn't stop anyone if they really wanted OUr guy...

credit Chad Lindskog of The Post for reporting this. I've wondered about these buyouts before but they never seem to get published until after the coach has already bailed... I ripped The Post for talking CIT expenses without having any revenue data. Nice to see this info posted while it is still a developing story. Real reporting!
