Only one of two coaches to not have UCONN #1 in end of year ballot for USA Today Coaches Poll.

Do you still get to fill out your ballot when you've left the school you're coaching at before the end of the season (i.e. before the championship game is played)? I guess my question boils down to this: does the ballot stay with the school or follow the coach?

Boy, I hope that Saul coaches better than he ranks teams:

UK = #1
OU = #21
NDSU = #25 (They beat OU)
Syracuse = #15 (But doesn't rank Dayton that beat them)

As someone said, maybe he let his son fill out the ballot.

He's clearly more of a cat person than a dog person.

The better team doesn't always win head-to-head.

Anyway, that's how we rationalized most of the losses to Akron under Christian.

Kentucky number 1 is really, really strange.  Serious question, amidst the chaos of the past week, did he have a brain fart and think Kentucky beat UConn?

All this does is prove that the polls are ridiculous.

At first, I was thinking, "That's really refreshing thinking. Just because a team wins the tournament doesn't mean they're the best team." So maybe he picked Florida? Nope, UK. That doesn't make sense. Or maybe he's just trolling.

Maybe he thinks UK was the best team at the end of the year. Maybe he voted pre game because he had his mind made up. Maybe he was overcome with emotion or was distracted and marked the wrong box . I don't think he will admit any of the above or take time to justify the rationale. I like the fact that he may be thinking outside the box.
