Okay, a recruit choosing Rhode Island over BC is terrible unless it was for family reasons.

its not that simple.

Terrell was originally committed to OkSt until recently when he opened recruiting back and claimed he wanted to stay closer to home (Boston area). Danny Hurley at URI had worked him hard the first time around and was his second choice to OkSt, Christian's predecessor never even bothered to chase a top 100 recruit in his own back yard. Credit to JC for coming in at the 11th hour and making it close.

Last week JC landed a 6'11" 3 star pf from Los Angeles that had recently decommitted to Cal and had offers from nearly every school in the PAC12, apparently the highest ranked recruit they've had in some time. I don't think recruiting was an issue for JC at Ohio and I don't think it will be at BC either. His Achilles heel is and will be post season play until he figures out a way for it to not be.
