Word from The Plains is that Athens High all-state player Dominique Doseck has commited to play at OU.  Nice to see a quality local kid join the Bobcats.  This may be the start of a resurgence in OU basketball after an extended wilderness campaign.

FYI, this is women's basketball. For those that may not be familiar...

They should have signed Jenna. Burdette from Eastern-Meigs. Really disappointing that a local with her talent is heading to University of Dayton.

Jenna had already committed to Dayton last year while the old regime was still at the helm.  Bolden wasn't hired yet so he didn't have a shot at her.

Gallia Cat, Old Katz is correct, Jenna was long gone, committed early to Dayton.

Jenna was also offered by the old OHIO staff. She chose to take her talents elsewhere it happens.

Dayton was the Atlantic 10 regular season champ and NCAA at-large selection after losing in the conference tournament. The Flyers were #16 in RPI. I hope things change for Ohio women's basketball, but unless she really, really wanted to stay super close to home, I'm sure Dayton over Ohio was an easy choice for her.
