Curious, too, is the fact that there are so many other categories that seem to stretch the need for precise definition (more awards!) but Russ' category is Sports.  Huh?

Interesting for sure.  From Wheeling to Louisville including Dayton, Cincy and Lexington Russ was one of a few tabbed for the SPORTS category. Congrats to Bobcat TV and Media for this

Pretty nice just to watch for the highlights if you are a Bobcat fan.

Looking through the list, Evan Shaw's work is also nominated for Photographer-Program. Best of luck to both of them. I happened to be on the Gridiron Glory team the year we won an Emmy, that was quite exciting.
