Brookwood Elite (our final opponent on the swing) played Vermont on Wednesday and lost 70-57.

I liked that Brookwood team when I saw them. Wonder if all the kids were there that played in INdy. Give a decent perspective on what that crossing over from HS to college means. Bigger/ faster/more experienced.

Ohio Bobcats finish the Canadian trip 3-0 after a 98-82 win over a local all-star team. The Bobcats were without the services of Bean Willis who sat out the game. Stevie Taylor led all scorers with 24 points.  Great job Bobcats!!

I think I read that the expectations were we would win one big, lose one big, and play one close. 3-0 sounds like an unexpected surprise, and given the lack of able bodies, sounds like this team really gutted out those wins. Mission accomplished.

That said, can't help but think the trip was a success. Especially considering the lack of healthy bodies.

I'm still very curious about the competition level we faced. But 3-0 against anybody is as good as you can do. Time to rest up and then get ready for the season.

I went to a volleyball once and they went 3-0 and gave out pizzas.  That's better than 3-0.

Tony Campbell has a huge game in third outing, 25-9.  Stevie with 23 pts, 8 assists. Wadley 8 pts, 11 rebounds. Treg 15-8. Ryan Taylor and Mike Laster each had 9 pts. Now hopefully can get healthy in the next couple of months.

Sure it was nice to get the wins, but with all the guys not playing and the mix and match rotations I wonder if this trip will really impact us much going into the year. Biggest thing gained may be the off the court bonding and just getting to know Saul.

Extra playing time for guys like Wadley, Campbell, and the freshmen in live game situations is always important. Too bad Harley could not get some playing time.

Even if everyone was there and healthy these games would not reflect or impact rotation. Your point about bonding is spot on. Very valuable for such a young team and new coaching staff. I hope they had a ton of fun.
