I have not seen this mentioned in any of the articles I've read. Anyone have an inside track?

Is there anything that would prohibit us from broadcasting the games via livestream as we do all our home games?

I watched the AAU team play at North Central a few weeks ago. We will have our hands very full. Seems a handful of Canucks have put Hockey in the rear view. These guys can flat out play.

For the record this is an amateur opinion....I am not a professional

Judging from what I read in Arkley's article about yesterday's practice, I just hope we have enough guys to field a team on the trip.  Crute is gone, Mo is with the Senegal National Team, Tony tweaked his knee yesterday, Wadley has had a stomach illness, Khari Harley with a back issue, and Chandler Thomas isn't here until fall semester.

Yeah, a little bit of a worrisome start to the year. Still three months away from the real season but it would have been nice to have all the guys available for this trip.  Maybe they can grab Tommy while they are up there.

Aren't the young men practicing now in prep for the Canada tour?  Any reports from the practices?

They are practicing with a decimated roster. Follow Arkley on Twitter and in his blog for reports. Looking good. Bean shooting well....make that exceptionally well, new guys are makers. Alums stepping in to help with numbers

Bean was hitting everything on Saturday, as was Ryan Taylor.  Campbell sat out and was limping.  Stevie was uneven. At one point he went in the locker room to get some sort of sleeve thing and coach was kidding him about being the most accessorized player in D1 basketball.  T. Freeman was part of defensive drills and hit everything he launched.  He did not scrimmage with the team, though.

I would assume Simmons can play on this trip?

If so, guard depth should be better than OK. But jeez, with Ndour gone any post injuries would be decimating.

here's a clip from practice via Stevie's public instagram account. That's Wadley with the bucket. We'll need Wadley to do that in games vs non walk ons too.

I saw a tweet from someone in the strength department claiming that Wadly has added six inches to his vertical in the offseason.

Wadly has definitely lost a lot of weight in the hips and butt.

Don't think transfers are allowed to play on this trip, so that would exclude Simmons.

Thanks for the info. Figured since it was out of the country the NCAA might not notice.

You know what they say: It doesn't count if it's in another country.

It's not the NCAA's job to police the world.
