PG - Taylor, Willis, Crabtree
SG - Willis, Laster
SF - Harley, R. Taylor
PF - Ndour, Setty, Thomas
C - Campbell, Mompremier

Now that Crute is gone I'm assuming we will see Bean play more at SG. Depth is going to be an issue obviously.

Taylor
Willis
Setty/Harley
Campbell
N'Dour

I think Setty starts the season at the three, simply because Harley doesn't have the experience yet. However, the way people are talking about him, I wouldn't be surprised to see him start later in the year. Plus, I want Setty's energy off the bench. He will be a great 6th man. Also, I think Campbell and N'Dour are really two 4s rather than 4-5. Ohio doesn't have a true center at this point.

Which is why they really need Wadley to give some kind of contribution off the bench. This team, while probably more talented, feels a lot like JG's first year team in terms of being thin depth wise.   Of course if any two of Harley, Laster, R. Taylor, or Thomas are able to give serious contributions, then concerns go out the window.

Either Wadley or Thomas would be ideal. If Campbell or N'Dour get in foul trouble, things will get tough in the paint. I think the guards and wings will be fine.

I am skeptical Thomas plays as a 4. Seems to me he is more of a wing. I think Wadly is going to be very key. We need minutes from him.

Also, we need Ndour to not wear down or get hurt. He is key. We need him 100% late in the year.

^ This - play the youngsters early and often.  Do not care about the out of conference record.  This team has zero shot for at large, so play for the conference - let the out of conference be ugly.  Get the youngsters experience and then look to create some chemistry with N'Dour as the season progresses.

I can't say that I disagree with this entirely, but getting young players a lot of early experience is likely important.  It's obvious that either the new recruits, incl Harley, are going to play a ton of minutes, or we're going to see a very short bench rotation this year.  I can't take the stance that letting out of conference games be a complete testing ground makes sense though.  The Hawaii tournament is a certain recruiting tool for this staff, and they could use a couple good showings with that.  Obviously, we'd all like to see them win it.

These unknowns and new faces are reasons to be excited and interested for the upcoming season.

Any chance of a new walk on who can contribute some minutes if needed?
