Good guys

Justin Orr back in town. Still tough to miss for the guys like Devo, ROme , Leon and such that are overseas already but a good turn out. Saul really engaged the alums and in his talk acknowledged the rich history and encouraged the guys to feel welcome here and make it their home. He said he found trophies and things that were salted away in the COnvo and will find places for them. Really impressed by his embrace of the former players and their incorporation in to the program. DMac is here and seems to be really contributing in many unseen ways.

As always Brenda White is the glue of the whole operation and to his Credit Saul made sure everyone knows how valuable she is to this program. Well deserved.

When I was working the SID's office my senior year I noticed that a lot of this stuff happens in the Convo. Before the days of all statistics being in one database or on the department intranet, they were tucked away in some closet. So us interns had to go into the closet and get all the old stats from the files and enter them into the system.

Also in the closet were left over giveaways from games, trophies and all kinds of Bobcat junk. I got a free Ohio Basketball mousepad and Ohio Football coffee mug out of there. You would think they would like to get rid of that stuff in the yearly sale they have during the football spring game or some other means.

These would be great things for use at Bobcat Caravans.

Currently the trophy cases that were in the Convo main entrance were removed for the HoF remodel, not sure of the plans for new cases, but as of last season the trophy cases were removed.

Wine country and you didn't call me to set up some tours/tastings for you? Where'd you stay out there?

Or me? Anyone on here if visiting wine country I can set up tours/tastings at several top wineries Napa or Sonoma ("gratis" - on my company - if not a group larger than 6 or so), as well as Australia, Italy (Tuscany), or New Zealand.

I hadn't heard the name Curtis Simmons in quite a while.

His daughter plays on the women's team and he comes to the games.

We made the trip to Mendocino via highway 1, which was very scenic. After a few days we drove to Healdsburg for several days.

What is her name? I checked the roster and didn;t see a Simmons or any player bio that mentioned Curtis.

Quiera Lampkins from Gahanna.
Her 1st year showed she can be a major force in the MAC in the next few years, like her Dad was.
