When is the predict the record thread going up.

I wonder if us being picked 2nd has more to do with our talent or the conference's lack of talent.

Over the month of March, Bean averaged 29.67 mpg for us while contributing 14.38 ppg.

He shot 52% from 3 over these nine games.

I have absolute faith that Bean Willis can continue this production. He is an elite shooter.
Bean is a 25yr old 5th yr senior, no reason for him to not be a significant contributor this year.

Yeah. CMU, at least, has sleeper potential. BG is just moribund.
BG will be much, much better this year.

Yes, well, "much, much better" would get them to moribund. Of course, they were merely bad before Orr came around. I imagine they'll get to merely bad. But will they get to anywhere near contention? Not this year, but we'll see what Jans does.

Two days senior to myself.

A toddler compared to old man T-Wilks.

The real question is, how many walk-ons are going to play? Will the starting PG and SG be walk-ons?? ;)

I disagree that Stevie and Mo are our only proven players. Tony finally got a chance and led us to end the season in the postseason. I always believed his minutes were great last year but he didn't get a ton until Jon left. I also see Bean as a proven player. Big 12 starter and then last year he was killer from the outside. Treg also showed up.

I think the top two wildcards are Wadley and Khari. We all heard how good Khari was but he hasn't played yet. Wadley looks good in videos, etc and if he can become a 5/4 type of guy, we will be very solid.
I don't think they're the only wildcards. I've felt that Ryan Taylor & Laster are included in this category as well.

You bring up a good point. How valuable will last year's post-season minutes be for some of these guys? I think that experience will go a long way toward success this season.
I agree - those were very valuable games for this group.
