My best wishes for a full recovery Dr. Tom. Reading the comments sections of the above referenced Star-Press article Dr. Freeman is very well loved and respected by his patients as well.

Still on a ventilator, but he's stable enough the doctors don't feel he needs surgery just yet. Woke up last night and was aware.

I come from a family of avid motorcycle riders and had an uncle involved in a near fatal accident a few years ago. There's no airbags on a bike, any wreck on a bike is a scary thing. Glad to hear Tom is awake and stable, wishing him a quick and speedy recovery.

I think about that everytime I pass an 18-wheeler and my car is moved over a foot by the force of the air displacement. Surprised more motorcyclists aren't sent airborne.

I always wonder about the same kinds of things. I'm not against motorcycles in any way, but man, I'd be afraid of being on one in freeway traffic. I guess that's why I don't have one.

I hope Tom is doing better. I know many us of always enjoy talking hoops with him, and look forward to being able to do that again when he heals & recovers.

Tom, wishing you the best. Saw Tommy's tweet that suggests you are headed on the path to recovery. We are all looking forward to you feeling better and giving us the benefit of your basketball knowledge and commentary!! Take care of yourself. All your OHIO friends have you in their thoughts and prayers. For the Bobcat Family this was Tommy's message in the tweet:

"A little worse for wear but I'm so happy that pops is still with us. Great to finally speak to him and see him for the first time since his accident. Told him there was a lot easier way for him to get some plastic surgery and lose some weight lol. Long road ahead but he's well on his way."

Back in the House.....

not much on TV SOOOOOOOOO Rehab starting MONDay is good timinng. NOt sure where time is after, I think, 8 days in a medically induced coma. {Tommy, you banged in 24?) I am goiong to try to get back hee as the season rolls nearer.Nice, to see qnde hear from so many of you.

attemption to put my commumincations back in order.

tech questions....rarely on an interstate. Will take US 36, US 56 AND msny others to avoid he inetrsatate. Never ride the road I was on for now obviouos reasons. Spent the the last 5 years avoiding that road for personal reasons. Bit m in the butt. SEO roads are some of the finest and least travelled roads in the coutry

ALL THE GEAR ALL THE TIME> anyone riding needs to get in the gear. avoid alcohol and svoid all situational exposure. putting over 20 K on a year I love commuting on a BIKE.........how mahy of you put 20K on your car last year?
On to balll. Notes from Saul and Brenda were specisl. Not tto far from Ku so hope to see him sooon. Need some gear for theses sweaty mattresses/ OHIO is going to be interesting from several perspectives. Talent, experience. Nice talk with Ndour the other week about the trip. H e is on track and locked in....good to see. ST and Beaner are locked. JO in Athens ran with guys and addded a body. It is a program that is propogating itself. Recruiting should benefit. Good ot b back. Fatigued so I am done for a minute. I am at the Valley in Dayton in Rehab. Stop by evenings. Don't wait tooo long. This is gonna be a limited engagement. Reallly love all the love from this program.......take that Power5
