Every time I hear this guy talk, I just can't fathom that he's the coach at Ohio. I don't know if this was posted before (judging by the number of views, I don't think it was), but this is a great little interview.

Keep your hands off my man!!! Ha. Obviously it's a bit premature to have such a man crush on him before coaching a game, but I certainly have high expectations. Will some success, I have no reason to think our recruiting classes can improve over the next few years.

I liked the first practice video on Ohiobobcats.com even better. I'd send my son (if I had one) to play for this guy, that's for sure!

It seems like every other coach we hire understands that Athens is special. I've never been to Fargo or seen any of the facilities at NDSU. It seems like Ohio is an upgrade in both areas to Coach Phillips. I'm excited for Saul ball mainly because it is obvious he has good coaching credentials and his open affection for Athens.

I just hope the entire Phillips family falls in love with Athens and he decides to stay even if a "better" offer comes along. Of course that would be Saul is a great success here. He's definitely saying all the right things. I'm a big fan. Some of his quotes are fantastic.
