Great interview. I just love Saul's humor and general approach to coaching. I did note that he completely ignored the question about Kaminski. Tells me that his status is not yet settled.

Around 10:00 in the video Russ asked a two part question. Saul addressed Kaminski along with Jaaron after talking about Laster and Ryan Taylor first. I don't think he ignored it as much as talked about the freshman first.

I think Kaminski's status being an Ohio Bobcat is very confirmed. Whether he can play this year is clearly still not settled.

TO, I listened to the whole interview and heard the question asked. I didn't hear the answer as you quoted it. Thanks for the correction. I think my AD syndrome must have been acting up!

I liked that he understands that teams will seek to stop/deny Mo so he'll looke to get Mo a few more shots outside--but not at a lessening of Mo's inside work.

thought it was interesting that Saul wants Mo to take more shots from the perimeter, that will be fun to watch.

I'm hoping that we can get a good inside-outside game going with folks like Stevie, Bean, and others (even Treg). We haven't had a good one of those in a while. It always looks like those are easier than creating those looks off of screens.

In theory, they are. Of course, the inside-out game is a little easier for defenses to prevent than freeing a popper off a screen, especially if they're sitting in a zone.

I'm excited about what Saul will draw up for when Mo starts to draw double teams. Besides our guys outside capable of knocking down 3's, it is also exciting to consider what Maurice getting doubled might mean for Antonio Campbell.

At one point you can see his name on the lockers in the background so that's a plus.

That will be there regardless of the decision since transfers practice all year even if they aren't eligible.
