If we are going to decline invites to the CBI & CIT we should probably take down the banners in the convo signifying our participation in them in the past.
Take those down and put one up for DJ Cooper.

So after a quick scan of all brackets, it looks like BG in the CIT is the only team playing in the postseason besides Akron?
Ohio Teams:

NCAA:
Akron
UD

NIT:
Ohio State
Cincinnati

CIT:
Bowling Green is not a State
will play illustrious teams such as Abilene Christian (15–17) and Alabama A&M (11–22)

CBI:
Cleveland State
On March 21, 2022 we played against, and lost to, Abilene Christian 91-86.

Or maybe start adding to the banner(s)when we don’t accept an invitation…”Declined 2024”. Seriously, in my opinion, they probably shouldn’t be there unless we would win the whole thing.

There are years where it makes sense to go to one of these. Like If we had a full available roster and a lot of inexperienced guys you know you will rely on next season. This is not that year.

Also from a coaching standpoint, you have to imagine Boals & Co wanted to devote their time to working the front end of the portal.

So glad Indiana State's not on my TV. This is way better.

Colorado State and Indiana State probably would have made a ballgame.

Wouldn't it have been nice if the Selection Committee was honest, and told the truth, that Indiana State's biggest weakness was that they weren't in a P6 Conference?

I hate the play-in's, but the committee wanted to rank UVA 10 and NC State 11. SMH.

Sam Towns misses a putback with two seconds left and BG's season ends thanks to Purdue Fort Wayne, 77-75.

Watching this Akron/Creighton game was so frustrating. Still feel like Ohio had the better overall team than Akron, but we didn't have the "best" player on the floor when it counted and that was the difference.

Not saying we would have beaten Creighton, but feel like we could have given it a better battle.

Just a fitting end to one of the worst seasons in MAC basketball history. This conference has a ton of work ahead to do to do any better than a #14 seed moving forward.

I don't think we had either of the best two players on the floor. Hard to win a game like that.

The entire state of Ohio about to be bounced from the tournament less than 7 hours into the thing.

Well, Dayton won after being down 17 I think, so there's that.

Akron has very little coming back. Unless Groce is leaving he better get to work in the portal.

Agee didn’t play last night. He’s in the portal today.

Would let him move into my house if he agrees to the in-conference transfer.

That foul call on Samford late last night against Kansas was very...favorable... to the Jayhawks.

I'd be pretty sure he'll be looking for something above the MAC.

I feel OHIO missed a fantastic opportunity to win one in the dance this year. I say that because I could dream the committee places lowly OHIO not in Pittsburgh but rather playing KY on the perfect night to play the Wildcats—that would have been continued Bobcat magic.

Something I am noticing watching Alabama-Grand Canyon. GCU has some DUDES. They may be a mid major but they athletically match up with Alabama. When was the last time we had these kinds of athletes on our roster?

It is also an On-line university that has 100,000 students and is a for profit university. To your question when was the last time we had these kinds of athletes? Never, and that is largely because we do not have 100,000 tution paying students in an online model (yes they do have a campus), but they are a for profit university. In 2008, they had fewer than 2000 students, today, over 100k. You can not compare OHIO to Grand Canyon.
